School Development Plan 2026/2027
St Barnabas School Development Plan
Our School Development Plan (SDP) sets out the key priorities for the year ahead, helping us to continue improving teaching, learning, and wellbeing across our community.
Everything we do is guided by our Christian vision:
“Let all that you do be done in love.” – 1 Corinthians 16:14
For the current school year, our priorities focus on four main areas:
1. Early Years

2. Curriculum and Teaching – Maths
To implement a consistent, evidence-informed whole-school approach to developing number fluency and mathematical understanding.
3. Inclusion – Year 3 of 3
To sustain and embed high-quality inclusive practice, ensuring adaptive teaching is consistently effective and securing strong progress, positive outcomes and successful inclusion for all pupils with SEND.
4. Personal development and well-being - The Year of Growth
To increase children’s skills of resilience, self regulation and independence, demonstrated through high standards of behaviour, presentation and engagement in all aspects of learning with a specific focus on children with SEND.
Together, we are helping every child at St Barnabas to love, learn, and flourish.
